Red White and Blue - Cheery Lynn Style!

4 comments:
Sunday greetings crafty peeps!

I was crafting last night and remembered the current challenge over at Cheery Lynn Designs is red, white and blue.  An extra bonus for this month, if you play along each week, you will be qualified to possibly win an EBosser!  How generous and fun is that?  I had to play!

One of my favorite collections of late is the Just Because line from Little Yellow Bicycle and the colors fit this challenge criteria perfectly.

This is a pretty clean and simple design, but I think whimsical too. Just too fun!  I finally got to use my burlap border and clouds and rain dies that I got from winning a previous challenge.  Love the details!

Some layering details...

Ingredients:
Just Because Papers, Chipboard and Stickers - Little Yellow Bicycle
French Pastry Tiny Doily - Cheery Lynn Designs
Burlap Border - Cheery Lynn Designs
Best Wishes Phrase - Cheery Lynn Designs
Lady Kate Edger - Cheery Lynn Designs
Clouds and Rain - Cheery Lynn Designs
Star Stick Pin - Maya Road
Bling - Want2Scrap
Enamel Dots - MME
Other:  Seam Binding Ribbon

A very special thanks to ScrapTownLady.com for the Lady Kate Edger, French Pastry Mini Doily and Best Wishes phrase dies that were used here.  She loves Cheery Lynn and has an awesome variety of dies and every goody you might need in her scrap store!

There's still time for you to play along today too!  Thank you Cheery Lynn Designs for the inspiration, this was really a completely fun project.

Have a super scrappity Sunday!

I'm very excited to show you my mini album that I created for the June hop featuring Reach for the Stars!  It's one of my all time favorite collections of Moxxie!

Explore!
I added a wood veneer gear around my flair, inked with Lemonade Chalk Ink.

I've used an assortment of die cuts for journaling and framing.

I thought the gear die was a nice accent for the window.

A bit of open space for photos and journaling.

I loved the compass flair with this collection - too fun!

I used triangle stickers for the jagged border on the left page.

The back cover

For the final page, I used two flair badges to fill in the die cut hole for interest.  This album is perfect for customizing for an easy gift to give that is sure to capture the heart of any little space lover out there!

I used a variety of dies by MFT, Lawn Fawn, Memory Box and Spellbinders here.  The flair is from The Paper Bakery and Basic Grey. The shaped mini album is by October Afternoon. Ink is PowderPuff Chalk Ink by Quick Quotes.

I hope you enjoyed my project today, I sure had a blast creating it!
